Self-Assessment Qestionnaire for Lipoedema
Are your legs larger than the rest of your body? This could be due to a condition called lipoedema rather than just calories or lack of physical activity.
Only a clinical and instrumental examination performed by a specialist in lymphatic conditions can diagnose lipoedema and confirm or rule out the presence of the condition.
To help you answer the question “How to understand if I have lipoedema?” and guide you in deciding whether to book a consultation with a specialist, our clinical team has developed a free self-assessment questionnaire.
By completing this questionnaire, you will discover how likely it is that the physical and aesthetic discomfort you are experiencing is associated with the presence of lipoedema.
Click below to fill out the questionnaire. You will
not be asked for personal data.
The symptoms of lipodema
There are many signs and symptoms that can be associated with the presence of lipoedema. It is important to emphasize that the severity of these symptoms varies from person to person, and not all may be present simultaneously or with the same intensity.
Symptoms can worsen with heat, during sauna
sessions, at the end of the day, or after standing or
sitting for long periods.
The main symptoms of lipoedema include:
- Sensation of heaviness, tension, cramps, or tingling in the limbs
- Cold sensation in the limbs
- Spontaneous pain of varying intensity in the limbs that worsens with palpation
- Spontaneous bruising
While the self-assessment questionnaire found earlier on this page can provide valuable information, we reiterate that a medical diagnosis is necessary to answer the question “How to understand if I have lipoedema?” with certainty.
